Massachusetts Governor Chris Christie. In the heat of the 2012 GOP presidential candidate race, the governor's 'conservative' credentials are sinking as low as his pants would without his super sized belt. The man many thought was the second coming of Ronald Reagan actually said the other day that republican candidate Newt Gingrich is an "embarrassment to his party." If Reagan ever said anything like that about a fellow republican, he would have at least used a humorous tone or attached a joke to the statement. Not Christie. There it was… a big, fat mistake for everyone to remember for the next 8 years, assuming Newt is elected and re-elected president.

Columnist Ann Coulter. Ann seems to be abandoning the republican 'conservative' ship as fast as her skinny little legs can propel her. She bad-mouths Newt Gingrich as much as his ex-wife Marianne. Just to be fair, let's assume she has something up her sleeve besides her bra strap. Maybe her criticism of Newt is a ploy to get him more votes. Maybe she thinks that by defending John King's GOP debate questions, Ann Coulter hating voters will vote against her candidate, Mitt Romney and for someone more 'conservative… Newt Gingrich. Convoluted? Yes. But we're talking Ann Coulter here.

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. Nikki, who was elected with the help of the Tea Party movement, has endorsed the Tea Party's least favorite candidate, Mitt Romney. This lovely woman has been the conservative 'Barbie doll' of the republican party ever since Mitt backed her for governor in 2010 with a donation of $60,000 to her campaign chest. Perhaps Mitt will pick her as his vice presidential running mate… making them the 'Ken and Barbie' team. That would, in theory attract 'moderates' in droves.

So. Am I anti Romney? Anti Christy? Coulter? NO! I like them and all the republican candidates. But if anyone belittles or ridicules a GOP candidate, I will be all over them like snake on a stick. We have enough on our hands defeating Obama.
